Nestled in the quaint village of Penestanan Kaja, just 1 kilometer from Ubud, (known as the "cultural heart" of Bali), you will discover Bali Taman Rahasia, the Secret Garden. Eight luxuriously appointed rooms reside among lush tropical gardens, towering coconut palms and gently swaying bamboo. Fragrant jasmine & frangipani bursting with color are a delight to the senses. The soothing sounds of trickling fountains and ponds filled with tropical fish and flowers create the perfect background for meditation and relaxation. Emerald green rice fields are just a few steps away.
Each of our spacious rooms feature private garden bathroom and verandah with a pool and garden view. Our two deluxe rooms feature four poster king-sized bed and deluxe tropical garden bathroom. Enjoy a refreshing swim in our natural stone paved pool. A cascading waterfall set among tropical orchids, rock gardens and exotic plants create a truly memorable setting. Taman Rahasia is tucked away in the village of Penestanan Kaja, on the outskirts of Ubud. Concerned with the over-development of the rice-fields, the owners chose to use a site located in a coconut & bamboo grove that was once a part of the family compound. In building, care was taken to leave as much of the existing vegetation in place and the coconut trees that were cut down were then used in the building process. Not only will you enjoy the tranquillity of the setting; you will be staying in a traditional Balinese family compound, enjoying the warm hospitality that the Balinese people are known for. Our goal at Taman Rahasia is to give you the perfect Balinese experience.
